Alausa Shopping Mall


The world class retail and leisure development was initiated by Actis in the 2008 and comprises 27000 square metres of gross built area and 23000 m2 of lettable area. The space accommodate nearly 100 shops including Shoprite, KFC, Mr Price, Twice as Nice, Nike and Aldo. The design of the Mall incorporates informal meeting places, a food hall and a five screen cinema. MDS Architecture is one of the oldest architectural firm in South Africa, as well as one renowed for design excellence since 1954. The firm’s portfolio spans regional commercial buildings, regional and neighbourhood shopping centres and casino/entertainement and hotel resorts, both in South Africa and abroad.
